Project Moksha

Serious Healing. Playfully Done.

A non‑profit residential creative sanctuary for mental well‑being, where science meets soul.

What Project Moksha Is

Project Moksha exists for people navigating mental health with courage, responsibility, and creativity.

We integrate therapeutic care with creative, embodied, and community‑based practices — offering a space that is safe, expressive, and deeply human.

What Makes It Different

Not a wellness retreat.
Not a clinical facility.
Not spiritual bypassing.

Project Moksha is a creative sanctuary — structured, trauma‑informed, and rooted in lived experience.

The Three Pillars

Creative Liberation

healing through expression, not perfection.

Compassionate Belonging

a community where you already belong.

Rooted Transformation

change that grows from the ground up.

About Project Moksha

A Creative Sanctuary for the Human Experience.

Who We Are

Project Moksha is a non‑profit, trauma‑informed creative sanctuary for mental well‑being.

Born from lived experience, it bridges clinical care and creativity — honoring both trauma-informed care and the human need for expression, connection, and meaning.

Our Mission

To humanize mental health by integrating science‑based care with creative, embodied, and soulful practices — reducing stigma and expanding what healing can look like.

Our Vision

A future where creative healing and “the art of creative living” is recognized as essential to mental health — woven into care, community, and culture.

The Why — Founder’s Story

The Origin

Project Moksha was not born from strategy. It was born from survival.

After being diagnosed with schizophrenia, medication stabilized me — but creativity is what gave my life meaning again.

The Realization

Art, movement, journaling, breath, and ritual weren’t hobbies.

They were lifelines. Yet spaces that welcomed people like me — medicated, healing, human — were rare.

Why This Exists

Project Moksha is the space I needed but couldn’t find.

A place where science is respected, creativity is medicine, and no one has to choose between the two.

Our Philosophy & Approach

Science Meets Soul

We do not reject science — we complete it.

  • Medication stabilizes.
  • Therapy supports.
  • Creativity animates.

Trauma‑Informed by Design

Safety, consent, pacing, and nervous‑system awareness are foundational.

Nothing is forced. Everything is invitational.

Creativity as Medicine

Expression is not about talent or performance.

It is about giving the body and mind another language when words fall short.

Who It’s For

This Space Is For

  1. Adults on prescribed medication.
  2. Adults currently in therapy for mental health but are not taking medication.
  3. Adults with a mental health diagnosis.

Humans seeking structured, creative, responsible healing spaces.
( * Adults are defined as 21+)

This Space Is Not

  • A detox or rehab facility.
  • A replacement for medical or psychiatric care.
  • A luxury escape or wellness trend.

Our Language

We use the word “Creators” to identify those with mental health diagnoses coming to our creative sanctuary — because everyone here is actively creating their relationship with healing.
